What we do

Bethany's Hope Kids (BH Kids)

Over a dozen kids and young adults receive financial assistance to further their education. This assistance is in the form of school supplies and uniforms. They also receive clothing and shoes for everyday living. An occasional lunch out at a local eatery, a trip to a public swimming pool, a pizza party at the Bethany's Hope property and a birthday celebration are some of the activities the BH Kids enjoy. They are also encouraged to attend church services and youth events for fellowship and to grow in their relationship with Christ.

Local family food gifts

Each year at Christmas time the ministry provides approximately 30 local families with food items including rice, canned goods, fresh fruit and vegetables. The ministry also provided food items during the pandemic and continues to provide food items various times throughout the year.

Likewise, the ministry seeks to help other individuals or families as we become aware of their financial, health and spiritual needs.

Makoy's cataract surgery

In 2013, through the generosity of our supporters, the ministry was able to provide the financial means to have cataracts removed from a 9-year old boy named Makoy. These pictures of Makoy show him shortly after his surgery and also more recently in the church where he is actively involved.

From Surgery to Servitude: Makoy rises above his physical challenges to serve the Lord with unwavering devotion.
